These type of supports are really hit or miss. I have tried several and frankly most do nothing. This support is the FIRST that I truly believe puts me in a more healthy posture. Remember to only wear for 15 to 20 minutes a day for at least two weeks. Remember your working on muscle memory. After about two weeks you can wear for 20 minutes twice a day. Each two weeks try to move to another 20 minute session. Once you have reached 5 to 6 sessions a day you will be surprised at how your upper cervical musculature is beginning to pull those shoulders back and keep your neck in a more proper and healthy position. You must be patient doing these sessions as it takes at least a month to see a markedly difference in your upper back and neck posture. One note DO NOT wear for more than fifteen to twenty minutes. Your are putting a lot of pressure to vessels in the arm pits. Do not ever go over twenty minutes and I stayed at fifteen minutes in all my sessions. I like to wear while I am riding my bike and it is very easy to take off. One note the sizing is a bit too small. I should be on the small size of large. Way to small for me. Even the XL is not all that roomy for me. ... show more

I bought this brace because I currently sit 16+ hours a day as a full-time ESL teacher and full-time master's student. This brace is sooo worth your money! The metal bars in the back force you to sit up straighter. The shoulder straps were a little uncomfortable for a day or two but now they are great and I don't even notice I'm wearing it. It can be easily hidden under clothes as well. If you're looking for a brace for both mid-back and lower back support, this is it. This and chiropractic appointments have drastically changed my pain level. I also had some problems with the velcro strap not sticking, so I contacted customer service. Tina, from customer service, was exceptional at sending me resources to make sure it was fitting properly, and then she ultimately shipped a brand new brace out at no charge to resolve the problem. I would definitely recommend anyone get this. For reference, I am 5'6, 135 pounds, and wear a medium. I could probably do with a small though too. ... show more

I was afraid about the size because all the reviews are mixed so I will suggest to go a little up instead of down. For example I am 5"3 and 133 lb. and ordered an L and it was perfect because I don't think this corrector should be to tight and if you are going to use it seated working at home with more reason you need some room but technically I could have use the M but I am glad I didn't because it would have been a nightmare not only in the lower part but on the arms. I will update later my review when I try the product more to see if my back pain got better. I used the product for back support. Working constantly on a desk and not maintaining proper posture made me feel very tired after work on few days. Felt like my muscles around the back of my neck were very fatigued. I used this product for about 3weeks. I used it on alternate days during the 3 weeks and feel like my posture was automatically corrected while working the days I didn’t use it. In the very beginning I felt a lil discomfort strapping something around my body while working but got used to it quickly. This is great! I've been wanting to correct my posture after noticing how unappealing my slouch looked and after doing research I realized it's better for my health. So getting this was a gift. Since wearing it I've noticed I've become more aware of my posture when I'm slouching. The instructions say to start out wearing it for 20 minutes a day and after doing that I noticed a change in my self awareness of my back. I now resist the urge to slouch which has improved my breathing and how my back feels after long hours of sitting on the floor, crocheting. The other great thing is that when wearing this, even if you do manage to push against the straps to slouch, the straps become far too uncomfortable to sustain a slouch position for long. I've tried a few of these. what makes this different is the rigid supports in the back, the wide band around the waist for stability which prevents the entire unit from riding up, and the cross back design of the shoulder straps which completely eliminates anything cutting into your armpits. I ordered this posture corrector because I have a lot of upper back pain and headaches. The product seemed to fit true to size and appears to be very well made. I have bought other ones in the past and although this one is a bit larger, I appreciate the fact that it can keep my shoulders back while I am exercising and working around the house.
