This is a very well made brace that holds up over time. The cross wrapping bands provide good support. I’m 5’ 10” and pretty stocky so I thought a large would be the right size, but the brace is too wide on my thigh. Even with the strap pulled as far as it will go I can’t get the brace tight enough. I expect if I’d gotten the medium I wouldn’t have the problem. Other than the surprise on the size, I think this is a high quality brace. ... show more

After I got the correct size, the brace is comfortable and supportive. I tested it with some moderate dodgeball type activity. I did measure my calf circumference 5 inches down from the midpoint of the knee - which yielded a number (17") that indicated I should order the 3XL. That surprised me, and when it came it was way too large. I ended up exchanging for the XL, which fit perfectly, even though my calf measurement is about 1.5" beyond what it says it should be. Maybe the table had metric/imperial conversion issues? Not sure - but once I got the correct size the product worked well. ... show more

I ordered a size XL because my leg circumference 5" below the middle of my kneecap is 15". The knee brace fit perfectly below the knee, but was way too big above the knee. I contacted Omples at the email address on the box, and they immediately shipped me a free replacement in size Large (no return necessary), which I received the next day. This brace is much better than what I was given at the hospital. The chart said I needed a double XL in Reality. I just needed a large, but I have an athletic build. For starters, not because of the quality but because of the fitment chart. Two sizes off.

So I loved this knee brace when I got it. Only used it literally a handful of times. Was everything advertised. The bilateral aluminum hinge(from the side break view it doesn't even appear to really be aluminum, just hard plastic) for one side snapped. I'm not sure if it was defective as in a crack or something upon shipping, After contact with the company, was reimbursed fully.
