I bought this keyboard to replace a more expensive one for my I Pad that kept typing periods when I hit the space bar. Now I am about to order another for a second I Pad whose keyboard developed the same problem after a couple of years. So far this keyboard works perfectly, and I have not had to replace the battery (with daily use for over two months). I love not having to recharge it. I am giving it four stars only because the keyboard does not fit into a standard I pad case that came with the last keyboard. I like that I could use the BT on my iPad and IPhone, and also my wife’s. Setup is easy. Getting use to how it works on device requires a little learning. Disappointed that the instructions did not cover how to use multiple functions of a single key (like “enter” and “return”), but I emailed company and got a quick, cogent and helpful reply. The real one from Apple died. The user wanted the same shape and layout but it was no longer available. This was a working replacement that was "close enough". It has been in use for some time and for the day to day use it is going strong. The first issue is that it is just enough off that once in a while it throws the use. This is not a big enough deal to have really caused any troubles but it has happened. The second problem and the more frustrating is rare but does happen. It will lose connection with the Mac computer and struggle to get reconnected. All without having been moved on the desk or anything else changed. Some times it has required popping the battery, waiting, and then putting it back to get it reconnected and working right. ... show more
