It arrived folded and took some time before it relaxed and laid flat. We kept tripping on it until it did. It is a pretty rug but isn't very comfortable to walk on. I nor my kids like to walk on it barefoot as it feels a little rough. It is also very thin and doesn't really offer any padding on a hard floor. It is supposed to be washable though, which makes up for some of these faults. It might be good in an entry or a mudroom but I don't see using it in our family room.

I use this on the concrete floor in my basement in the area where I have my pantry, and it works great. It's very durable - there are feet going across it multiple times a day, and there has been no wear and tear. While a bit on the thinner side, it does keep me from slipping when wearing my slippers and gives a bit of protection if I accidentally drop an item. The rug comes folded, so I unfolded it and draped it on my clothesline for a few days so it could flatten out before laying it down, and that seemed to get rid of any wrinkles. It has a bit of an almost fuzzy back (almost like the back of a plastic tablecloth), so it doesn't move around on the floor. I have yet to need to wash it, but it's small enough that it should fit nicely in the washing machine. The only issue that I found is the material of the rug. It's almost plasticy feeling - so I don't think I'd want it in my living room, but it would look great in a three-season room or on a screened-in deck. Overall, this is a good size, attractive, and durable.

For the price, I do recommend this rug. However, if you can I would get a pad to go underneath it as it is really thin. It does wash, but it gets kind of wrinkled after and it takes a while for that to settle down. The pattern is nice too.

This is a lovely, neutral colored rug. Design & color would match well with any décor. This rug is thin, very low pile, with a slip-proof backing. Backing works well to hold it in place on hard floors. Due to it being thin, it doesn’t have much weight to it, so it will still slide some if you don’t have furniture or rug pads holding it down. Works well in high-traffic areas. Surface is smooth & vacuums clean easily. Stain resistant & doesn’t trap dirt in the fibers. Care instructions do say it’s machine washable on cold, delicate cycle. Can be dry cleaned as well. Hang to dry. Arrives folded, so there are quite a few creases through the middle. Will take a few days before it begins to lay flat. Well made. Edges are straight & even. Seems pretty durable. If you’re looking for a soft, thick rug, this isn’t for you. The material is very thin & doesn’t have any padding at all. The texture is smooth but not very soft. Would work under a desk chair. My office chair rolls over it smoothly. Overall, it’s a beautiful rug. Due to its texture & stain resistance it makes a fabulous rug for an office or busy space.

I was relieved to find that the rug matched the photos, although I think it might be a tad more vibrant in person. From afar, this looks like a really pretty rug and adds some accent and interest to my floor. It has a rubbery backing that helps hold it in place, which is nice. It is more like a floor cloth in some ways as the pile is very, very low. Because of this, it doesn't offer any cushioning, but that isn't a problem for me as I put it under a small table and chairs. My biggest issue is that I can't get this 5x7 rug to fit in my top loading washing machine. While it can be folded up, the rubbery backing makes it a bit too stiff and difficult to wad up into the machine. It's not going to get clean if I fold it up and put it in tightly folded. I will be hand washing it in spots and will have to take it to a laundromat with bulk item washing machines if I want to completely machine wash it. Still, I'm giving it four stars because of the looks and value.

This really is an attractive rug: the pattern is bold and striking and the colors are muted, so while they are still quite vibrant they are not garish and should blend in with most decor. It comes wrapped in a plastic bag folded up. While this means the package is rather small for the size of the rug, it also means that the rug has deep creases out of the box that will take some time and effort to release--if they release at all. The non-slip backing works pretty well. I have the rug on a tile floor and it stays in place for the most part. However, the top of the rug is pretty rough, not quite like burlap, but similar in feel. Would have liked a softer rug, but it looks pretty good.

This is not a thick plush rug but it is perfect beside my desk as it doesn't hang up the wheels of my rolling chair. The distressed style print softens the look of the room and it doesn't slide underfoot.
