I have a senior dog who needs the traction the rug will provide and also, she doesn't always make it out the door in time (potty). So, this is not made of carpet like material like most rugs. I'm not sure what I was expecting since it's machine washable. However, it does look great in my living room and is what I need with a toddler and a senior dog who has constant accidents (now wearing diapers) so I'm happy to know it's stain resistant/waterproof/machine washable. It will work for now until my son is older and less messy, then we will get a more traditional living room rug. I put a 1/2 inch rug mat under it so it's not directly on tile and it's more comfortable. ... show more

I love the colors in this area rug. The quality is good and it lays flat without any creases or any warping or curling at the edges. The material is thin but feels very comfortable.
