  • Wonderful telescope, get the 0.75x reducer
Was nervous buying one of these, people talk about how hard they are to collimate and get good images. Mine came nicely aligned and seems to hold it well as I travel in the car, unlike my Newtonian. I recommend the 0.75x reducer for most areas (sold separately), the seeing just isn't good enough most places to really need that 1600+mm focal length. I did have to swap the reducer out, the first one came very dirty between the glass elements and incouldnt clean it. The only knock on the experience. All these photos are reduced to 1218mm with a 1 inch square sensor for reference, 533mc pro cooled camera. Ordered on a Thursday late morning, it was here at 9am the following Monday all the way from Munich Germany to Missouri. Wasn't expecting that level of speed. ... show more
