I don't own a smoker. I have a gas grill. I use these pellers with a smoker tube (stainless steel tube filled with holes). I close and holes in my gas grill with aluminum foil and my gas grill becomes a smoker. These give my BBQ ribs a great smoky taste.

I bought 2 bags of pellets for my Ninja smoker and I used the oak pellets for a whole chicken. I haven’t tried the cherry yet. The chicken was Smokey flavored and very juicy. Yes, I would recommend the oak pellets and will give a new review after I’ve tried the cherry pellets.
