  • Struggles in low light, but does great in well lit spaces
Color: Silver
I have a Yi M1 M4/3 mirrorless camera from 8 years ago that I paired with this lens and I'm surprised how nice my photos turned out. This is a really nice lens for the cost, and since my camera is also plastic the lens doesn't weigh it down. For daytime shooting this is my favorite. Edit: I ordered this October 17th at $199, so do not believe the Black Friday pricing. They artificially inflated the price in order to bring it back down to normal price. This is a super cheap autofocus lens, $250 is probably too much. ... show more

  • Sharp image and very light
Color: Silver
It’s very light and produces sharp images. Bought it when it was $70 off, so it was a good deal

  • Great sharpness, budget price!
Color: Black
This is an excellent, sharp, lightweight lens at an affordable price. I could pay triple or more without gaining any improvement. Olympus quality stands out.

  • wonder lens

this lens is "plastic fantastic" cheap, light, sharp, and good colors!

  • Improved my photography life
Color: Black
I'm no professional photographer, so this was only my second lens for a new E-M10 after the 14-42mm. I'm pleased with the way it extends my landscape photography for longer ranges, and lets me get some closer-up wildlife shots. So far it's held up fine to daily use, and the plastic construction doesn't bother me (indeed, I'm happy to have saved a few ounces, since I'm mostly hauling my gear to the woods). Light rain hasn't bothered it so far. ... show more

  • The "Plastic Fantastic"
Color: Silver
First off: this is not a $2000 lens. The body is plastic, it's not fully electronically controled, and there's definitely a drop in quality at the highest zoom. But for a $200 travel lens? Absolutely amazing. I've heard the phrase "plastic fantastic" more than once referring to this specific lens, and it's the perfect description. I really don't think there's much competition at this price point. ... show more

  • Great lens for the $$$
Color: Black
Terrific lightweight and inexpensive lens for the amateur photographer. I’ve shot some really great close up photos with this lens over the past 8 years. The only reason I’ve had to replace it as I dropped my older one… I love this lens!!

  • Incognito Telephoto Zoom
Color: Black
This is the perfect vacation and walk around telephoto zoom for micro four thirds. It's tiny! It doesn't even look like a zoom! If you've ever had the problem of family members cheesing for the camera because they see you pull out a behemoth of a lens from the across the room, this lens will help you sigh in relief. No one will notice you happily snapping away. Street photography? Yes, please! As an 80-300mm full frame equivalent, you will be capturing intimate moments and beautiful faces around town without anyone giving you the stink eye for carrying around a camera lens in the shape of a bazooka. Don't try using this in low light situations unless you plan on strong noise removal, but for both indoor and outdoor shooting where you aren't going above ISO 3200, you should be fine. Having the FASTEST or LARGEST lens doesn't always mean it is the right tool for the job! ... show more
