This is my third Stylus Tough camera. The first one locked up on the 2nd day of vacation, after about 5 years of rough use. The second one has been through a lot (vacation to LegoLand and Yellowstone each filled 2 8gb sd cards!) and still works, but starting to occassionally give me a hard time. I decided that I wanted another one. New and improved for sure! Still have to finish reading through the guide that I printed most of it out to read at my leasure. I haven't dunked this camera into water yet, but the water proof use is the main reason I bought it again. Not having to deal with some type of housing makes use so much easier. The seller added a lot of extras, including a plug into a wall outlet battery charger and extra batteries. YEA!! Since I've been using the cable and plugging the camera directly into my laptop when transferrring pictures, I haven't had to remove the battery to charge it. But I did use it to charge one of the extra batteries. The pictures are so crisp! It is taking me a little more time to understand all the settings. The one feature I miss on this version is the settings for pet lovers: the auto feature that would take pictures of your cat (or dog) as soon as the camera locked onto their faces. It made getting cute kitty pictures so much easier. Will definitely keep the old one as long as possilbe for this one feature. If this one lasts as long as the second one, still working, it will be another 10 yrs or so before I'll be looking at another camers. Possible that this will be the last one I ever buy.

If you're going to buy an Olympus Tough TG-6 anyway, consider buying it with this bundle. At the time I bought it, the bundle cost $10 more than the camera alone. I would have given it six stars if it were still at that price. It's gone up since then, so consider the current price difference in making your decision. For me, the Sandisk 64GB Ultra Memory Card alone made the cost well worthwhile. Add in the spare batteries and charger, the mini tabletop tripod, HDMI cable, the Corel image software suite, and cleaning kit, and it's a great deal. The "premium flexible tripod" (different from the mini tabletop tripod) has good and bad points. The screw is too long for the TG-6 tripod socket, so the camera won't sit firmly on the tripod unless you add a lock washer to the screw. The quick release is handy, but you really need a screwdriver to ensure you get a firm connection to hold the camera steady. Beyond that, it's a versatile tripod. The padded camera case is more of a mini equipment shoulder bag. Handy for keeping accessories and camera together, not so practical in active field conditions. The screen protectors are pretty worthless - they'll peel off before you get much use out of them. The software bundle is very useful, especially if you don't already have up to date photo and video editing software. The memory card wallet is just right to hold two spare batteries in your pocket in field conditions. Too big to be useful for memory cards. The camera? Amazing. The auto setting lets inexperienced users get good shots under most conditions. The rest of the modes and sub-modes offer a bewildering array of options that can really let a creative user get outstanding photos. So far, HDR scene mode and focus stacking microscope mode are personal favorites. I'm still learning, and enjoying the process. I'm especially pleased with the durability of the camera, having worn out or broken many lesser cameras in field conditions. This one doesn't look as if anything will faze it.

The Olympus TG-6 is great, and there's a reason it's on every "top 10 waterproof cameras in 2022" list. So about /this package/ specifically... it's currently cheaper than buying the camera alone, so it's worth buying for that reason alone. It does come with 3 batteries instead of just 1 and an extra charger, so those are helpful. The memory card is OK, though I prefer at least 180 speed for recording, and this one is just 160. But it *is* a big SanDisk memory card, so it's decent for most things (just not a lot of video) Annnnnd everything else is sort of useless. It does actually include a 4th battery in the wrong size, so that's useless. The floaty arm strap won't keep it floating if you drop it in a pool or river, so that's no good. The "gorilla tripod" is weirdly gigantic and bulky. The camera case would fit 4-5 of these cameras so it's WAY too big to be usable, and everything else is on the flimsy side. So it's not a great package and if it cost more than the camera alone I wouldn't buy it. But as of Oct 25 it was $15 CHEAPER than just the camera itself, and since it came with the 2 extra batteries I'm sort of thrilled to have it. (Just don't expect quality when they're basically paying you to take the extra gear off their hands)

I was skeptical about a fully waterproof digital camera, but this worked so well! All of the parts that close have locking pieces to be keep the seals. The underwater setting worked great and helped me capture some great images when snorkeling! Easy to switch back to day, night, sports/kids settings so only need to have one camera to capture all the memories. Would definitely purchase again.

The media could not be loaded. this was the only waterproof camera which amazon displayed, i bought it. it is waterproof in the pool, for now, after all its still new. i also like to record soccer games. the auto focus leaves much to be desired. my nikon never had such a problem. this is also recorded in 4k.
