I'm an Olympus fan. Have two OMD-E1 mark ii and tons of lens. I bought this to be able to walk around with a camera in my pocket. I love the selfie capability of the camera. The screen in the back drops down, turns and faces you. Line up your shot, touch the screen and you have a good quality selfie photo.. So Darn easy and your arms don't have to be 3 " longer to make a selfie happen. This camera could be easy to use on Automatic or you can manually set the settings you need. I'm really pleased with the PEN E-PL9. Takes great photos, even for it's smaller size. I was concerned about the picture quality based on some of the digital cameras I've used in the past, usually a a lot of JPG artifact spoiling the image detail and color, Not so with Olympus. I did alot of research on mirrorless cameras and finally chose this one. I'm a retired photographer and usually shoot with DSLRs but decided that I just didn't want to always carry all the large equipment when hiking....so far I am still experimenting and learning the camera, but am Loving it...
