I got a LG monitor for my home office setup and the power cord was laughably short. Especially once I wanted to use a monitor arm. I even have my UPS/extension plugin ON my desk top and the cord was still taught and "floating" from the arm. I tried to contact LG about a longer power cord to no avail. I scoured Amazon and Chinese competitor sites for power cords that matched the specs of the the LG one. Nothing gave me confidence that it would work and/or be safe. Luckily though, I stumbled across these. So simple! A three pronged, single plug, robust, and short extension cord. Brilliant! Affordable for what it is too. It was the simple solution to my problem. And quite honestly, a problem I may have again down the road. I'm not over the top with it, but I do like cable management in all areas of my home. There is bound to be another time a device doesn't quite reach where I want it to. I now have another solution in my arsenal. You can find them with different style plugs too.
