I got a LG monitor for my home office setup and the power cord was laughably short. Especially once I wanted to use a monitor arm. I even have my UPS/extension plugin ON my desk top and the cord was still taught and "floating" from the arm. I tried to contact LG about a longer power cord to no avail. I scoured Amazon and Chinese competitor sites for power cords that matched the specs of the the LG one. Nothing gave me confidence that it would work and/or be safe. Luckily though, I stumbled across these. So simple! A three pronged, single plug, robust, and short extension cord. Brilliant! Affordable for what it is too. It was the simple solution to my problem. And quite honestly, a problem I may have again down the road. I'm not over the top with it, but I do like cable management in all areas of my home. There is bound to be another time a device doesn't quite reach where I want it to. I now have another solution in my arsenal. You can find them with different style plugs too. Traditional straight or low profile and slated like this one. Very neat. Something that seems super obvious once you find it. Big thumbs up!
