Having previously purchased RAM from OLOy, I decided to upgrade my computer's memory by purchasing two additional sticks of the same type. I knew that it was recommended to avoid mismatching RAM as it could lead to performance issues, so I opted for blue colored heatsink ones to complement the black ones I already had. According to OLOy's website, they were compatible and even shared the same serial number. However, just two days after installing the new RAM sticks, I started experiencing program crashes and blue screens of death (BSoD) on my computer. While everything initially seemed fine, after approximately eight hours of use, the crashes began. As I had only recently changed the RAM, I ran a memtest86 test overnight and discovered that it had barely failed according to online forums. Despite my initial belief that the RAM was not the issue, I tried various troubleshooting steps such as updating the BIOS, chipset drivers, and GPU drivers, and even doing a fresh Windows reinstall. Unfortunately, my PC continued to experience BSoDs even after two weeks of troubleshooting. I finally decided to test the new RAM sticks individually, and after doing so, I found that they were both faulty and failed the memtest horribly. Fortunately, I was still within the 30-day free return window and was able to send them back for a replacement. After receiving the new replacement RAM sticks and using them for almost a month, I can attest that my computer is working perfectly fine with zero BSoDs or program crashes. Although I had read previous reviews that mentioned the possibility of faulty RAM, I was disappointed to experience it firsthand. This green set of Oloy DDR4 3200mhz ram was a super cheap addition that fit right in with the color scheme of my build! I will be ordering more in other colors to accommodate other builds soon!

This RAM really sold me due to the price for the amount of RAM per stick (16 gb) and the speed per stick (3000) MHz. It also helped make me choose it that it is also DDR4. I have yet to test it as I'm building the machine it is going into. However the product was as described, arrived sooner than expected each time I ordered it; I have ordered 4 sticks in total. I was overall impressed and thankful to find this RAM at the price I found it and personally can't wait to try it. Most RAM at this speed and Gb is way more expensive.     • One stick died within a year of use.
Installed Windows 11 and within a week or two my computer started acting odd, blue screening randomly, and it got so bad, within a couple days, I could hardly launch Chrome for longer than 5 minutes. Finally decided to figure out what was going on, did memory tests and it said INSTANTLY that one of the sticks were bad before the test was even 1% done. Had to swap it out with a different stick, computer is working fine now, but I've /never/ had a stick of RAM last one year. I recommend you buy your RAM for a few extra bucks and get name brand. The name brand sticks I've bought have lasted me years. Had my last RAM kit for 7 years before retiring the computer due to the CPU failing. ... show more

So I had not realized it until after I bought this set, but it is the exact same module package that was in my pre-built PC. I honestly don't think I need 32GB of RAM (16 to start and this second set of 16), but for only $60 it didn't seem like there was any harm in getting it. Installed it and jumped into BIOS just in case. The BIOS immediately recognized the 2 new modules and set the XMP settings for them automatically as it had done for the original 2. Once I booted into Windows ran HW64Info and saw the screen populate with the full 32GB of RAM at the desired CAS latency. OLOY is not some big band name like Corsair, G.Skill, or Crucial, but they deliver solid performance at a great price. I have no issues with it. ... show more
