I got these when I noticed my old dental mirror wasn't mirroring very well. As if on cue, I lost a chunk of filling. Bummer. This came in very handy for checking it out and feeling what was what back there. I was able to add some new temporary until I can get in at the Dentist. I ordered them with the expectations of an affordable but usable set, and they fit the bill pretty well. The tools are ok, but not top. The plastic covers are hard to get off the pointy ones! The mirror is small and not really adjustable. The case is very handy and roomy enough to fit the little vial of temporary fill so I can keep them together. This set is good enough for feeling around, gently, in a pinch. I don't really use them to scrape my teeth since it makes me nervous, but those serve well to help push in the fill! I picked these up for my husband who uses these tools weekly. Other than one tiny rough edge, this set is fantastic. They are made from stainless steel and my husband says they work great for removing the tartar and plaque between his teeth. Be careful using them as they are quite sharp. And, the plastic storage case makes it easy to store them in our bathroom drawer. This is a great set for the price and we recommend it. ... show more

Great set of dental tools for $6.00! They are really well made and work great on my teeth! Love having these tools at home to do maintenance , but of course be gentle and still go see a dentist regularly.

This is a good quality stainless steel set of dental tools. They are just as you would expect, except the dental mirror is rather small. It's smaller than the ones they have in my dentist's office. I believe this set will last a very long time! It is nice to have the plastic case they come in, as well! ... show more

ordered this for those at home touch ups between dentist appointments. i've had no formal dental training nor do i plan on it, but these tools do seem to do the trick to get that tricky tartar build up to disappear. the clear carrying case is nice as well. i would recommend.

They are quality metal dental kit, but is missing tartar scraper. Maybe used item? Due to no plastic sealed wrap? The case was closed, and not broken. Updated 3/20: Yeah, make sure you got it in ziploc bag. Otherwise, you're receiving used kit.... ewwww
