This frame was perfect for my 7 year old. The installation was relatively easy. I don't expect any bending or warping since he's only 55ls. My only complaint is that one of the pieces was warped (a part that seats one of the slats). I was able to use a channel lock to bend it into the right shape to complete the install. The reviews had me a bit nervous but we ordered this kind sized frame to put a 14” memory foam mattress on and it is perfect for our needs! It is a little bigger than my mattress but that isn’t an issue for me. It is solid and we’ve been using it for over 2 months now without issue. It hasn’t bent or anything. Be sure to assemble it properly and I promise it won’t collapse or anything like some reviews said lol. It seems very stable and sturdy and has been a good solid platform for our mattress. I have it on carpet and thankfully haven’t had any complaints about squeaking or anything like some reviews stated, but that may be more problematic on hard floors.
