Just got this hat press and it’s super easy to use. Heats up fast and the temperature is stable. Made a few hats already and they turned out perfect. Definitely worth the money if you're into DIY.

I now understand why this heat press was on sale. During use, it did apply consistent pressure and stayed down while pressing, so that part worked as expected. However, the major issue came when lifting it. The press would not stay in the open position and repeatedly tried to close back down, which created a real safety concern—it nearly closed on my hand multiple times while removing items. The only way I could get it to stay open was by turning it off and unplugging it, and even then it took hours before it would hold its position properly. That’s not normal or acceptable for a heat press. I attempted to return the item, and the seller offered a partial refund while letting me keep it. That response alone raised concerns for me, as it suggests they may already be aware of a defect. I sent it back to them. I would not recommend this product, especially if safety and reliability are important to you. ... show more
