First of all, I am ROUGH on glasses. If I don't drop them, I hang them on my collar or pocket and snag them on seatbelts, ropes, tools, or whatever is handy. In my years of wearing them, I've broken more glasses (other brands) than I care to admit. These glasses are very durable. I've done the standard "hang and snag" with these too, but they are survivors. I've bent the earpieces (multiple times) to the point I was sure they would break when I straightened them. Nope. I've dropped a few pair from atop ladders or hunting stands and was sure they were goners. Nope. I have also discovered these are more comfortable than their predecessors. The flexibility in the earpiece/frame connection is perfect to me. Not enough tension that I get a headache from extended wear, but enough that the glasses are held firmly in place and don't slip down or off. The lenses are clear and seem less susceptible to scratches than previous brands I have tried. I have several pairs of these because I am not only rough on glasses, I am prone to lose them, both temporarily and forever. I DO NOT want to run out of these and have to wait on another order. A five pack at this price is amazing. I truly hope these continue to be produced and sold at the same "above par" standard and "below average" price. ... show more

I bought the 5-pack, and have been pleased with the quality, durability and function of these reading glasses. The only negative, and it does get annoying, is that the plastic nose pads smell like burnt rubber. It has not dissipated with over a month of use. It is so bad that my face smells like burnt rubber after having worn the glasses and removed them. Makes me wonder what's in that plastic (given that most plastic is petroleum derived). Hopefully they don't go into the perfume business... And hopefully my face doesn't fall off :) ... show more
