This dehumidifier works very very well. It is bigger than I expected , so don't be like me; look at the specs so you know what you are getting. This machine is quiet...very quiet. I don't even realize it is on and running. It has two fan speeds, if I recall, so you can set it to how you want. The tank is around 1/2 gallon in size and fills up every 12-14 hours. It comes with a hose if you place it near a drain. I just empty mine out twice per day after it shuts itself off from being full. This thing is taking out a gallon of water per day, from the air in my house. Now the humidity is down to an acceptable 52%. I just leave it set to 30% so it always runs. Not sure it'll ever get down that low, but I'm happy it keeps it in an acceptable range. It has wheels so you can move it wherever you need and it looks pretty decent and fits nicely next to a shelf or wherever. Easy to set up and easy to use. Would buy again. ... show more

Flat out the best dehumidifier we have ever owned. Our small cottage has a dirt crawlspace and the humidity inside is always too high. We had the old very loud style dehumidifiers and they were just ear wrecking. I admit with this one, I have had to check it several times to make sure it was running, yep, pulls a full tank a day out for us, so I'll attach that hose to direct drain outside soon. the lights are a bit to bright for a bedroom unit IMO but they do let us know what the status is of the big room. The description said that this is good for basements. It is completely inadequate for my basement, which isn’t especially damp. I used the drainage hose, so I didn’t have to empty the bucket. The bucket is very small. With constant use, it only lowered the humidity level from about 68 to 60. This would probably work for a small, enclosed area, but it didn’t do much for my basement. The goods were delivered on time and intact. The product works as expected, thanks to the compressor type of air dryer. In a small bedroom, the device collected 2 liters of condensate per night.I recommend the product!!!

It works properly reducing humidity in a small place. It is fairly noisy. The manual is a disaster, it does not show you where to attach the yube inside the machine. The controls do not respond easily. You have to push them hard, several times. I would not recommend it.
