There is nothing to dislike about this product. I had purchased a name brand at a store & it’s going in the donation bin used once. This one tells you what temp you get at each setting. Daughter-in-law had one & I saw the quality, too late to avoid spending money on the loser product. My niece used it once to put curls in my hair. Haven’t used the new one because I was sick when it was delivered. The pouch to protect the counter & then store it is great! I saw how much my daughter-in-law loves it every day makes me know it was worth buying it though I had a new one already. Bought for Christmas gift in December. Use it maybe twice a week if that. 8 months later won't turn on. Plugged it in turned on started to straighten hair lights were flickering and just shut off and then nothing.

I LOVE this straightener!! My mom recently bought it so naturally I had to copy her and buy the same one. Since I have naturally very curly and thick hair, I've had many flat irons in my lifetime at this point- most recently before this I had the Babyliss Titanium one (the 1 inch one). I liked it at first but over time the hinge I think loosened up and didn't get as good of a grip on my hair as I'd like and it ended up taking me forever to get my hair sleek. This bad boy though, cuts my styling time significantly and I find that I don't have to touch it up nearly as much after I first style it whereas with the last flat iron I'd style it the night before and then the next morning it was ruined. Totally worth the money in my opinion, as someone who does my hair very regularly. Mine came as a gift set too which is awesome- I love the big paddle brush!! I have Natural Ethnic Hair and this Flat Iron really did not straighten my natural hair as I would have liked. I've had other Flat Iron's throughout the years that have performed much much better, and didn't come with this high price tag. It's a pretty iron, very well made, but it didn't do the job I bought it for ( for my type hair ) ... show more
