It’s really well made metal housing. i did drop it and it kept working. Adjustable to have as an in house night light to walk around with, to a bright light in the dark. Battery lasts a long time. The only problem is it gets hot at maximum setting.

Wonderful flashlight that appears very well built. It's very bright on "high" and "turbo" modes and has a useful moonlight mode that has a battery run time measured in days. It's a bit pricey, but it serves the purpose of multiple flashlights in a handy formfactor. I highly recommend.

All around best flashlight I own. I carry this flashlight to work as I travel and often stay in trailers or man camps in the oilfield. The down light is extremely handy and probably the setting I used the most as a table light next to the bed and nightlight for those middle of the night bathroom trips. Two things you should know about the light and they aren't negatives but worth knowing before you buy. First off the light has a custom rechargeable battery, so you will have to buy another one from the company eventually. Second, the light is not zoomable so it's flood light only, it's bright but your not going to be shooting a laser focused beam. Honestly I carry and use this light more than any other flashlight I own. Great for work, travel, and around the house. The light is USB C rechargeable and the down light on low is just bright enough to maneuver around the house without disturbing anyone else sleeping who would be disturbed with turning on a nightstand lamp. Quality made machining and materials. No regrets in purchasing. Only problem is keeping others from wanting to take it from you "borrow". ... show more

Full disclosure, I'm a big fan of Olite! This one looked pretty cool, with a super bright 5K lumens front light and a downward lamp option. Both work as advertised - I haven't tested the battery life, but can attest that on the highest setting, the front light is really bright! It was hard to tell from the item listing, but it has a matching metal base that has a magnet so it sticks to the light. The base has a USB-C outlet for charging, a thin suction edge that does a good job keeping it upright on a smooth surface, AND it is threaded for a standard tripod. IT wasn't clear from the photos or reviews how that worked, but it is included in the detachable base! ... show more

This light is Awesome, nice Cool White for the spot light and a Warm down light for the lantern down light. Great size and burn time. Perfect compact size for any backpack or tent, the removable USB-C charging base is perfect for a free standing base, and the bottom of the base has a small suction feature that helps keep the light in place, very sturdy. Light levels for both spot light and lantern are fantastic and this light is heavy enough to show off the quality build. All black aluminum flashlight with a glass bezel. Functionality and switch placement make it an easy light to operate in any type of conditions. And the 5000 mA battery allows this light to burn all night with a very useful light output with battery charge left to spare. Add in double tap Turbo mode and triple tap instant stobe. I did discover the light is very heavy and it's the battery, super heavy for a Lithium Ion battery which is very strange? Overall I give this light a 9/10 in fuction, design and versatility with the only down point is the weight. ... show more

The prowess is the perfect size flashlight for a backpack light. Bright enough for any walking activity, going crab hunting with the kids, and while I haven’t found the perfect situation to use the down light yet, it’s also bright enough for anything I could imagine using it for. As many of the Olight editions - this one lives up to their reputation. Easy to use and charge it’s a great light to have around during blackouts - especially with the dual function. It did not have a USB-C built on the flashlight I loved how it has 2 part lights for different purposes, but it frustrates me becuase it only takes certain way to charge, sometimes after a long period of time I have no idea where the charging base is.
