Review for white 48x24 version. Safe to say I was a little worried to order this due to the hundreds of options I went through. I'm very picky when ordering things like this off of Amazon and read tons of reviews before purchasing. This option was one of the few that barely had complaints, and the ones that did weren't much of a problem for me. By the way, I did build this myself (recommend to have another to help you though, it was a workout and made a dent in my wall in the process but that's my fault lol), so my experience with assembly was more of a struggle but with another person to help, it would be pretty easy. The legs are the heaviest parts, be sure to keep them on the floor and not try to stand them up (bc then you might make a small hole in the wall). I have assembled lots of furniture before, and I recommend to always leave the screws a little loose before tightening them. Sometimes, when one gets tightened, it'll make it seem like the other holes or even one, isn't aligned. I did have one that was slightly unaligned, but I know a little tilted screw doesn't really affect something like this. As for missing holes, I will be honest, I don't remember if I had to make my own. I feel like I didn't, but if you do, just be sure to mark where you make the hole and don't make it too big. Just enough to get the screw settled and then it'll do the rest. The instructions were a little confusing at times, and all I can say is to read them carefully and really look at the diagrams. One part I just had to risk was the cables into the motor, in the instructions they look the same, but not when you plug them in. I included a picture for reference in case someone might need to see it. Finally, I was concerned about putting stuff from my previous desk onto this one, since I'd be moving it up and down, I thought maybe they'd be too heavy. I have some shelves, holders for writing utensils and such, my computer, lamp, and a bunch of other trinket things. And it's holding up great! The shelves don't move or threaten to fall over luckily. Overall, I really enjoy this desk, and I actually really like the desk top material because it's easy to clean, way better than the glass desk I had beforehand! ... show more

First of all, I put it together by myself in about an hour. It only took that long because I always double check to make sure I'm using the right screws lol. I didn't really use the instructions themselves - I used the online video they have. It was about 5 minutes long and I just paused at each step. Super imple. I've been using the desk every day for almost 2 months now - I wanted to wait to review it until I had a good amount of experience - and it works without a hitch. I'm short (5'3") and when I'm sitting, I like a lower desk, and this one goes down further than the others I've seen. Because I'm short, I have no issue with how tall it gets... I don't even need it to go as high as it does lol. I also want to say that I have 2 monitors, each on a glass stand, plus an internet router, plus my normal keyboard/mouse/mousepad... maybe a drink... and a desk light that clamps to the side. Whether the desk is up or down, it NEVER moves. Sometimes I find myself leaning forward when I'm standing and typing, and I always get scared that I'm going to knock it over or tilt it, but the legs are EXTREMELY sturdy. I like this desk a lot. Its the one with a big single piece wooden slab. So looks really nice. The motor is powerful and quiet enough while bring the desk up and down. It took about an hour and a half to fit it together by myself. I got the 55 inch by 28 inc dimensions and it is really spacious. Only thing that I got me concerned is that once I put together the desk togther and flipped it there is small about (1/3 of an inch) chipped part. Now that I have assembled it I don’t want to disassemble and return. Wished the wood was not chipped on top on a brand new desk. Hence overall 4 star rating. Bought the desk in June and it’s been working great for me. Other people I talk to spend $400+ on their standing desk. The box is extremely heavy so you will need help. It ships through FedEx; the people won’t bring it up to your door if you live on the 2nd or 3rd floor and there is no elevator. I was suprised that I was able to put it together by myself. The one thing I will say is I recently noticed that the desk has started to wobble. Especially when it is all the way up in standing formation. If you are extremely picky when it comes to wobbling desk I recommend you spend the extra money on a nice desk that will last years to come. ... show more

the desk is great. instructions are simple enough. however I recommend you watch the instructions video rather than only looking at the manual if you're a beginner at assembling stuff like I am. other than that, it works pretty great and it's mostly stable. I love that the tabletop comes in a single piece. I would totally recommend for the price. it's worth noting that the tabletop and the frame are delivered separately, so definitely expect that. ... show more

It looks super slick, and it's got this modern vibe that totally goes with my style. The up and down navigation works well and love the minimalism. I liked it so much that I got another one for my girlfriend. Setting it up was pretty straightforward, and I didn't have to scratch my head over complicated instructions. If you're considering a standing desk and weighing it against a regular one, especially with their prices being so close now, I'd definitely recommend going for this one.
