    • Deducted 1 star for bilingual calender and inadequate instruction manual
so this watch attempts to offer the days of the week in both chinese and english at the same time. Bad idea. I almost sent back the watch thinking I got the wrong version. It also shows the day of the week in chinese writing for a period of time each day while the movement is working its way past the language skip mechanism. This really ruins the experience of what would otherwise be one of the most if not THE most beautiful cheap watch on amazon. Also there should be some warning about reading the manual before attempting to set the time on the watch as trying to adjust the date/time when the watch is positioned between 9pm and 5am can actually cause damage to the watch which I have a feeling may be the case already with mine. The link removal tool is a nice touch and somewhat of a blessing tbh because the band did require some reduction in size to fit my wrist properly. Again you can't rely on the instructions to help you here you just have to figure out that the tool needs to push from the side where the pins are slightly inset and be reinserted from the side where the pins appear to be flush with the links (if that makes any sense). Either way I felt like a million bucks with it on my wrist as the fake diamonds on this watch really sparkle and do create a heck of a light show. No regrets thus far. If you're considering this as a gift for someone pull the trigger hard. It comes in a reasonably decent gift box although it's not the typical way a gift watch is boxed the recipient will love it. Nice... I have a very small wrist and have it on the tightest setting. It fits well. The face is a bit larger than I'm used to (although still slightly smaller than my wrist so that's ok) but the best feature is its thin height. Smooth and looks sleek. Also means I'm not knocking it on the wall or hard surface as much. If you are dependent on the calendar date on the clock face, then know it's very tiny. I love the watch, it would receive 5 stars if the date feature would keep up with the time although that falls behind from time to time, but aesthetically it's a fine piece.

Works great. The only negative I can say is that the wording in the instruction document are so small that I had to get a magnifying glass to read them. Also, be careful setting the day of the week. When the watch arrived I thought I was seeing things when the date was in CHINESE. Reading the instructions will give you the steps to keep the day in English. I love the watch except for the clasp mechanism as it comes apart a lot while on my wrist. I am not sure if this has to do with having links removed.
