This is a gorgeous watch which was purchased for dress wear. I just reread all about it and no where does it state that this watch must be worn at least 8 hours a day to charge it. So it's now a daily wear watch. Just be aware of this "feature." Edit: My husband said that if this watch isn't worn daily, it can be wound a whole bunch of times, and this apparently charges it. Other reviews do mention changing the battery after a year or so, and they don't mention having to wear it to charge it. So I don't know, it's confusing. ... show more

Would have been an ok watch for the price, however, the date and day of the week indicator do not work. You have to manually set them each morning. No Bueno. The tool included to remove links is total garbage and broke in the first link, leaving the pin from the tool stuck in the band. Jeweler wanted 50 bucks to fix it and told me honestly if this watch isn't sentimental, to toss it and go to Walmart if I've only got 40 to spend. Well. He was correct. Sadly.
