It took a little time to put together but nothing unbearable. I love that it has a trundle so extra sleep space if needed. I wish it was a little more sturdy. Overall I like it and it’s good for the price.

I didn’t even have it a year, and it already broke the welding from the bottom bunk, which is a full broke the welding job that was done on. It was horrible.

Honestly, i regret buying this bed. You leggit need like 3 people to put it together because the bars that hold the mattress up are hard to keep in place while trying to put the screws in. And after about 3 months the bed started creaking. Not worth it.

Putting them together is a bit of a test of your native intelligence, but they are sturdy and you get a lot for your money. What's nice is once you can put the money you save buying this frame into buying better mattresses. It's a win win. It hadn't occurred to me the trundle is so freely movable. If you have a lot of company the trundle can be easily moved to another room, though you may want to put a sheet of cardboard under it for "heavy sleepers". The trundle can then be stored again under the bunk bed. It keeps you from having to buy a cot or day bed for visitors. ... show more

For the price, this is a decent option. If you want something seriously sturdy you’ll need to spend twice as much buying something made of wood from an actual furniture store, but this one is ok as long as all the bolts are tight and it’s anchored well to the wall. I cut two lengths of 2x6 poplar and screwed them to the wall in order to anchor both top and bottom bunk using rigid electrical pipe brackets (ie the kind holding power line drop to a house). Plenty sturdy that way. Top bunk rail is perfect height for 8 inch mattress, you could even squeeze a 10 inch mattress up there if you want and still have some of the rail there to keep you from rolling out. ... show more
