This is not an item Amazon should be offering. Several pieces were cracked and appeared to have been glued together. Alignment of parts was offset. Painting was blotchy and irregular. Directions were difficult to follow. In short. this bed platform with headboard was a piece of junk!

Directions were a little hard to follow. My headboard slats did not line up and I am going to have to get a drill to drill new holes so I can put the boards in.

This bed was pretty easy to put together, but when we got to the second to the last step, we thought the bottom brace boards were too short. After receiving a replacement bed to swap out parts and those board were also too short, it was discovered that two of the side boards were too long so the bed could not be completed. The customer service department was great sending out a replacement bed to swap out parts. It was a big hassle to take everything apart just to swap out the two side boards. Very poorly made product. As you can see by the pictures there were numerous scratches and finish issues with this bed frame. While the parts go together fairly easily there are large gaps and several parts which are misaligned. The materials such as the finish are cheap and expect more for the price. Would not recommend and will never by a product from this company again. ... show more

About an hour into assembly, realized the base was cut about 3 inches too short. Since this is the center support, it compromises the whole bed. The directions are sub par and parts aren't cut right. Stay away or sacrifice time you will never get back. Loser bed.
