I've had this mattress for over 2 years now and the memory foam has held up better than expected for this price. It has had a slight odor since I purchased it, but it never bothered me enough to try and fix it. Well I had some free time and I decided to remove the outer cover and wash it according to the label. BIG MISTAKE. Under the outer cover is an "inner cover" which is actually just woven fiber glass (as a fire inhibitor). This fiber glass breaks down over normal usage apparently and had filled the outer cover. So washing this cover just spread the fiber glass EVERYWHERE. I didn't notice at first since it is so fine, but after having trouble sleeping and breathing for a few days, I took a very bright flashlight at eye level and could see millions of little fibers throughout my room. Obviously on my sheets, but all over the clothes in my closet, on every surface imaginable. I spent hours vacuuming (with a HEPA vacuum), tried washing my sheets several times but ended up throwing them out as the fibers are impossible to remove once they've penetrated through cloth. I vacuumed the bed with the cover back on and vacuumed every surface in my room as well as all the clothes in my closet. Finally, it seemed like I had it under control. It's been about a month since I did this deep clean and I'm again having trouble breathing. Pulled out the flashlight to see the fibers have worked their way through the cover again and are again circulating my room. They have covered my quilt and are showing up on several surfaces. I can't afford a new mattress right now and am moving soon, so I'll have to try and find a mattress cover which can hopefully contain the terrible design choice of this mattress. Warning to all, do not remove the "washable" outer cover under any circumstances!

I waited a couple months to review this. I really like it. It's a good medium firm mattress... I was expecting softer based on reviews but it's not soft. It's also not super hard. I sleep on my side so wanted softer but it's very comfortable and pretty much perfect as is. I had to adjust to having my first memory foam bed but was able to sleep on it from night one. I've gotten used to it now and I love it!!! I don't feel like it gets hot at all (FYI it was 119 here the other day... So that's important). I'm very happy with this purchase and am using it on a metal platform bed frame from zinus and it works great! No box spring needed. It's true to size as well... It's a queen for sure. Lol. Oh, and it expanded to almost full size immediately and all the way within an hour! Slight smell for the first few days but not enough to keep me from sleeping on it and not very strong at all. Oh and it does expand to the full nine inches! Hope that all helps! I would buy it again and recommend to family. It's really a nice mattress for this price, or any price.

As of the day I'm writing this review, I've given this bed a month of nightly use so I could write something honest, fair and unbiased that someone looking to purchase this mattress could actually use in their decision-making process. First off, this mattress is VERY firm. I'm a big girl, and definitely bottom-heavy, and being honest here? This mattress is amazing to sleep on. It's very quiet, very supportive, and doesn't transfer motion (I don't even wake my dog when I climb up on the bed!). Also, in warmer temperatures/weather I did notice it slept a little hot, but nothing I can't handle. Now that it's getting cooler outside, the mattress is actually maintaining the perfect temperature at night! Next, and possibly the biggest pro of this bed: as soon as you lay down, all the pain goes away. I spend double and triple shifts on my feet all the time, working seven days a week, and my back and legs will gladly vouch for this mattress. I figured, buying a memory foam mattress, that 'cheaper' meant less than favorable quality, but to be honest, again: this mattress feels just as nice as my friend's $1200 Tempurpedic. All in all, this was a great purchase. I'm writing this review at the tail end of a 27-hour shift at work, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dreaming about the moment I can fall onto this bed and go to sleep! Because I know in the morning I'll wake up without any pain, and that is always a good feeling.

We got this for our camper sized full which is only 48” wide. This mattress measured 54 1/2” wide and so I cut off 6 1/2” with a kitchen knife which was very easy. Took 5 minutes. There is no fiberglass in this mattress or cover so I’m not sure what people are talking about. Maybe the older models had fiberglass.

Two sets of sheets, the outer cover, a brand new pair of pants, all of my underwear, a bunch of socks, and 4 shirts were utterly destroyed when I removed the outer liner to wash it. I hadn't realized that the inner liner was made out of FIBERGLASS until after I washed everything together, absolutely everything is embedded with fiberglass from the inner lining, which has degraded and is now shedding fiberglass after only a few months of use. I've been coughing for no reason recently, and my 8 week old baby recently began coughing for no reason as well, now I know why, we have been breathing fiberglass particles all night! WARNING: THIS PRODUCT IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH, AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS! Aside from the detrimental health effects, this mattress is advertised as medium firmness, and it is definitely soft. It's also very difficult to get in and out of, especially if your mobility is affected. If I could give this product negative 10 stars I would. This matress has to go in the trash after just a few months of use! Waste of money!
