I don’t want to blame this mattress for a cancer diagnosis but I was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a year after this mattress and the mattress still smells like “chemicals”. I’m very aware of bad chemicals now because they have a strong link to my cancer. I am only 29 so this is rare form and just discouraging the purchase of this mattress because there are wonderful organic mattresses with no off-gassing smell.

I did my research. Watched all sorts of videos reviewing mattress . I wanted to initially buy purple or nectar. Honestly I did not care about the price. I read all the feedbacks from all mattresses including nectar and purple. After weeks of research i decided on this mattress. Honestly i was worried about the price. This mattress is a quarter of the price of what I had budgeted. I was not especting much at all. I said worst case scenario I would throw it and buy purple. When i first got it. My parents liked it , but i did not. A little to soft for my taste. I like hard mattress. But as i was forced to sleep on it, because my son had to sleep in my room (tv). I Slept better than my $3,000 bed . Great buy.

I do like the quality of this mattress - it came very well packaged, and the quilted cover is beautiful. However, I did a ton of research before settling on this mattress and read the reviews extensively. According to the majority of the reviews and even the product description itself, I believed this mattress would be medium soft. It is like sleeping on a board- a board with just the tiniest amount of give. If you are looking for a bed that feels luxurious and plush, I don't recommend this one. Very nice quality, but extremely hard and uncomfortable. Guess I will be spending even more money on a memory foam topper now to try and make this comfortable. UPDATE: bought a 3 inch memory foam topper to put on top of the mattress. Now it's somewhat more comfortable, but you can definitely still feel the stiffness through the topper. Still not a fan; I will be looking for a replacement mattress as soon as I can afford it. Waking up stiff after I have had this bed for a week is not something I want to continue to live with for any period of time, take heed!

For the price, comfort level and all things included in having a way better mattress then I had. I have to say this is one of my top buys off of amazon. The bed has a medium firmness for me but I’m also 5’2” and weigh 125 pounds so I’m not a big person. I was afraid by the reviews that it was going to be way to firm for me, not the case but I’m also not sinking to the bottom of a cloud. There was a very low odor smell when I opened the mattress itself that dissipated in about 30 minutes (I also have a large room) so I kept the ceiling fan on after reading reviews that the smell could potentially linger. Also I took the advice of others who purchased this bed and made sure that when I officially unveiled it, it was positioned perfectly on my bed so there didn’t need to be any unnecessary shifting etc. The mattress does have weight to it and doing this along I really wanted to make sure everything was all systems go! Once I opened the mattress it took about 5 minutes for it to expand to roughly 7inches. Then after 30 minutes of opening it was at 9.5 inch (good enough for me). I did have to adjust the corners where the stitching was tight so the foam had more room to expand, other then that I am overly satisfied with this purchase. And after owning a Tempur-pedic myself this bed is a better buy. I did my homework and looked at mattresses for about a week before I decided on this one, I was looking for something softer I didn’t want a memory foam/ gel mattress to be the equivalent of laying on a bale of hay, this mattress is not the case. If you are on the fence read the reviews and decide for yourself, I personally am very satisfied!

First off, this mattress arrived literally two days after I ordered it, a week earlier than estimated which was awesome! Arrived in great condition. It's pretty neat because it comes vacuum-sealed. As soon as you remove the plastic wrap it begins to inflate immediately and within about 30 seconds appeared to be fully inflated. I think you would be safe to sleep on it the first night that you got it. There was a very very faint odor when you first opened the bag, but nothing different than opening new sheets or a new blanket, wasn't strong or offensive in the least. I am a strong lady used to carrying big bags of feed and this mattress is heavy, especially when it's vacuumed sealed. If you are smaller or older you will definitely want 2 people around to move it. Item was absolutely clean and brand new. Slept on it for the first time last night and did not disappoint. It's actually quite a bit firmer than I expected, but still soft/supportive from the memory foam. Very happy with it!

Best mattress ever! It arrived late but that’s ok box wasn’t too heavy I carried it downstairs by myself and unrolled and threw it on the frame by myself. Left for about two hours and it was already full sized with the exception of the corners for some reason those don’t seem to want to expand all the way. I’m very picky I like a soft bed and took the plunge on this one. Not disappointed at all the bottom 7inch layer is firm enough to keep you from sinking in and the top layers are soft enough to make it feel like you’re laying on a cloud. Will update again after I’ve slept on it for a while. Update. I’ve been sleeping on this for a few weeks now and still have no complaints about it. It is a very nice mattress. Sturdy and firm enough to give you support and soft enough on the top layer to let you sink in a little bit. Awesome buy highly recommend!
