This is my first pair of this style of boot, they seem decently well made. A leather-like sole wooden heel with tacked on rubber. The kind of boots that can be repaired once you ware out the heel. Be warned they seem narrower than regular shoes so if your foot is at all on the wide side opt for the wide version of your particular size, also I read a recommendation to go up half a size to make sure that you will be able to pull them on and that turns out to be true. ... show more

Just received, wore around the house for a couple of days before wearing outside. Spent a full day in them and they were pretty comfortable, might need to insert a heel cushion for long wear. The boots look great, but they are a little large. Two pair of socks seem to work but I decided that was not the way to go. It appears that my shoe size and boot size are not the same size. So I sent the boots back and will try a store that makes these types of boots and buy after I try them on.
