• Balanced Nutrition for Asparagus Growth This fertilizer is designed with an optimized 16-10-13 formula plus added sulfur and magnesium to meet the unique needs of asparagus plants. It supports vigorous spear production in early spring while promoting crown and root development for long-term bed health. The balanced nutrients help your plants thrive, ensuring consistent growth, improved resilience, and stronger overall performance.
• Encourages Strong Root & Crown Development Phosphorus and potassium in the blend work together to enhance deep root structure and crown strength, allowing asparagus to establish a solid foundation. This leads to healthier plants that can produce reliable harvests year after year. By fortifying root growth, the fertilizer helps asparagus beds last longer while improving nutrient uptake, ensuring sustainable growth and continued productivity season after season.
• Boosts Spear Quality & Yield The specialized formula promotes larger, healthier spears that are more consistent in quality throughout the growing season. Potassium supports plant resilience, helping to maintain spear uniformity, while sulfur and magnesium enhance nutrient absorption for greener, stronger ferns. These improvements contribute to better yields, giving gardeners the satisfaction of harvesting abundant and healthy asparagus crops each year.
• Supports Energy Storage for Future Harvests After spear harvest, nitrogen fuels robust fern growth, which is critical for building energy reserves in the crowns. These reserves are stored and used to power next years asparagus crop, ensuring continuous productivity. This cycle of growth and replenishment means that your asparagus plants remain vigorous and capable of producing healthy, plentiful spears over many seasons, maximizing the value of each bed.
