At about $35 bought on a deal, this seat was almost perfect. It's easy to assemble, took me about 20 minutes from point of opening the package to using it. I'm not a plumber but adept at DIY. It seems there are a lot of other reviewers that were confused by this, the instructions aren't great, but you can't fumble through this in an hour or two you may need to take a life skills coarse. It is pretty visually evident what fits where. In the pic you can see the additional plumbing connections that come with the seat and that they can be hooked up and mostly tucked away out of site. Functionality of the valve is not super intuitive, but once you realize what is happening it is pretty straight forward. The dual nozel and self clean functionality works great. The cold water temp is not as big a deal as you would think, even in winter (house 68deg F). The soft close is great. The plastic itself is sturdy but doesn't inspire 100% confidence when you sit on it with the top down. There is a bit of play in the quick release mechanism which allows the seat to wiggle left and right a tad however this is not a problem as the rubber feet of the seat keep it from shifting with weight on it. My only gripe is that the seat is a bit short for my elongated bowls here. Both my other seats have an inside diameter of 11"+ front to back. This one is 10" and the outside of the seat matches in being about 1" too short. I know there is more going on in the back with the plumbing here but they still had room to make it a bit larger. Even in it's most extended adjustment it falls a bit short of the front of my bowl. Thankfully there is still enough overlap that it is stable. ... show more

    • Bad design on attachment hose.
Recently installed a bidet exactly like this one with no problems. This one has proven impossible to connect due to instability of connection and washer getting in the way of threads. The elbow connection moves in and out causing pressure against the threads while you're trying to screw it in. The washer leaves limited threads available already as it is very thick and awkward to seat. Overall a good bidet with a terrible design on the connector hose. Found that if I clamped the elbow to prevent it moving forward I was able to thread the attachment onto the bidet. Working perfectly now... ... show more

    • A little difficult to install. Water has not enough force.
It was difficult to attach the hoses as the main hose from the toilet to the bidet is not flexible enough. Sprays are weak. The one intended to wash the anus should be a stream.
