These shoes are a great value for the price not completely water proof but they work good enough for fast food work and are very slip resistant I just took my old inserts out of my other shoes for crews shoes and now they are even extremely comfortable I spend 8 hours a day 5 to 6 days a weeks on my feet and no foot pain or anything even without the inserts I just wanted them to be more comfortable they also look really nice I'm about 2 weeks into wearing them and so far they are holding up very well and I'm not easy on shoes for the price if I get 6 months or more outta them I will be very happy but so far I am impressed with the quality and comfort of them I would recommend them to anyone trying to to save a buck and not sacrifice quality, durability, or comfort. These are a good shoe. Keeping in mind I just received them and they seem to be well made and would be comfortable with the exception of one thing. I am 6’-3” weigh 240 lbs. and my feet are as flat as a table top. They are also wide. So I ordered a wide but what I received was not a “True U.S. Wide.” As soon as I opened the box and saw them I could tell they were not a true wide. If you have a wide foot you will know exactly what I mean. I checked with the seller prior to ordering because I knew from past experience this would probably be an issue. Got a quick response and have to give them a 5+ for customer service. But bottom line, a Chinese Wide in this case is not a true U.S. wide. So if you wear a wide, spend the extra money on a shoe from a supplier who’s shoe sizes are more in line with U.S. sizing standards. I'm a sous chef in a hotel which has several flights of stairs so I go through a lot of non-slip shoes. I like these because while the ones I got were a wide fit (and they fit perfectly), they didn't look like giant clown shoes as some tend to do. As with any kitchen shoe, I advise taking the sole out afterward and letting them air dry. The traction is solid, I haven't noticed any problems on wet or greasy floors.
