This. Stuff. Works. I am a grandmother with thinning limp hair. This year i tried everything. I came across this brand at a recent salon visit. I use as directed, blow dry my short hair, and finish with a curling iron around the top. Its expensive but doesnt take much. You're worth it.

Pros: makes hair soft, no overpowering smell, makes hair shiny, makes hair voluminous at first, heat protection, no stickiness, no stiffness, hair looks and feels healthier when using it. Cons: unfortunately volume doesn’t last all day and gets flat within a couple hours for fine hair, and doesn’t help much with static in dry climate, have to use a lot of product for results Will likely buy again for the benefits

LOVE THIS! This product delivers on volume. I was surprised that it kept working even after getting caught in light rain. I can’t speak to its benefit as a heat protectant yet but so far very happy.

Gives my hair volume without stiffness, and the heat protection is a big bonus. Speeds up dry time and leaves my ends feeling soft and healthy. Great for layering with other Olaplex products — salon-worthy results at home.

Only Olaplex product I’ve been disappointed by. I use the entire line (except #2 used by professional stylists). I use #0, #3 bond builder repair, numbers 4, 4 (a) purple blond shampoo, 4(b) clarifying, 5 conditioner, 6 styling cream, 7, styling serum, 8 intense moisture conditioner and 9 styling shine oil. I tried this spray for volume but my hair is just too long and heavy. Tried it with round brush, etc., tried sectioning hair, tried it on dry hair and wet. I wouldn’t call most Olaplex products “niche” products with the exception of their purple shampoo for blondes. The rest of the line if used as recommended works well for all hair types. This product is a “niche” product that will not work well in my opinion if your hair is heavy thick but fine. But it’s not the product it’s my hair type. I’ve never achieved volume at roots without either a professional blowout or gasp… teasing at roots and spray which I do only for special events. It also coated my hair and dulled the color and shine. So I won’t be using this product again.
