Fortunately you caught when I have little time to write, otherwise this would be quite long. A disaster from the get go. First, all the instructions are in Spanish. I don’t speak or read Spanish, so I downloaded the English version. I’ve programmed my own registers for years, but couldn’t figure this one out. Couldn’t get the tax to come out correctly. Hola! We just received ours. It's not set up yet, so I can't speak about its performance. I'll review that later. I just wanted to be sure and write about the instruction manual since I've noticed other reviews complaining about it. We also received an instruction manual all in Spanish. But, if you just look on the page where you bought it, you'll see a link to the instruction manual in PDF format. It only took a minute to download it. I'd rather have it in the computer than a booklet anyway. I've looked it over and it appears to be user friendly. Once we get it rolling I'll review it again. Adios amigos ... show more

We bought as a replacement for another Royal that stopped working, like the one before that, that stopped working. The only reason we bought another was because it was so close to the previous register that we all knew how to work it. When you have no time to learn a new register, it's just easy to get one that you know how to use. Hopefully this one is better. ... show more

Step one, throw out the manual. Step two, go to YouTube and learn how to use it. I couldn't find this model, but the video tutorials of the previous models applied to this register.
