This is a solid, sturdy case for my iPad Air 4. The ports work great and really add to the practicality of using it as an everyday device. I no longer have to locate or carry various adapters for all the microSD, SD, or USB flash drives I have around. The removable flip cover is nice as well. Overall it’s a well built case and am very glad I got it. It’s a bit pricey, but I felt was worth it.

Replaced the first case i got from them thinking it was a defective case. Turns out its the case its self. Sometimes it wants to charge other times it doesnt.ports dont always work.

If you have an iPad Air 4th Gen like mine, this case will provide the near ultimate protection for it. Combine this case with a quality tempered glass screen protector and you're ready for 'combat'. The case provides full wrap around protection for the back and edges while allowing the small USB-C hub to mount to the bottom in a very secure method. Short of an actual fling into a brick wall, this thing should take it all. The hub features expansion sockets for attaching the iPad to various interfaces. These are: HDMI socket - hooked up to my FHD 27" monitor and had great video without any noted dropouts playing some videos from the iPad. Micro-SD card and full size SD card sockets - issue I found I didn't really like was I tried the micro card slot and the card does NOT seat all the way into hub. It sticks out a good distance and if you're going to be using a card, you will have to pull it while mobile and then reinstall when stationary or risk the chance of having it knocked out of the hub. NOT GOOD! USB3.0-A port - Hooked up a USB to Ethernet adapter and accessed the internet at over 300Mb/s on my cable modem service. USB3.0-C data port USB-C Power Distribution (PD) port - allows to charge the iPad and help power the hub. There is a small switch on the hub to disable the hub when not in use (RED = OFF, GREEN = ON) and I found out the hard way to not forget to use it once you're done with the hub. I left it on and the next day I found the iPad dead without any battery life. I had to wait for it to be recharged enough before I could use it. Not a critical issue providing you're where you can recharge quickly but if you're out for the day and have the hub switch ON, you are feeding two animals: the iPad and the hub. 3.5mm stereo audio jack - probably not much need for this unless you're an old school wired ear bud user, etc. But it's there if needed. The hub case comes with a removable screen cover that attaches magnetically to the back of the case. When the cover is closed, the iPad will go to sleep until the cover is opened again. The cover can also be folded to provide a tilted stand for viewing the iPad on a flat surface. All in all, overlooking the small issues outlined above, this is the ultimate in expandability for the 11" iPad AIR. Makes it feel like a big boy and walk tall. Check it out but keep in mind the issues if you do get one. I only hope the manufacturer takes note and solves the micro-SD card slot issue. That done, it will be a masterpiece.
