I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Paired with a Shimano rod and 15lb braid, it cast extremely smooth and reels in the same. The drag works great and is light weight for a 3000 size reel. Her and I go fishing at least 3 times a week and it has held up for the 1.5 months she's had it. This has been by far one of the smoothest reels I've experienced. I thought retiring in my 50s would be rough. I tried to do everything to align my hobbies with my wife's then I picked up this reel with with the comparable Celilo rod. I'm not sure if it was psychosomatic, the color, or what, but she had become a fish catching monster. Trout, Yellow Bass, White Bass, some big mouth, and even a few surprise channel cats, she and the Okuma combo has amazed me. She has hauled in some absolute monsters on this rig and 0 issues. This ladies reel was cheaper than the original version and appears identical except for the color, and fish certainly don't care what color your reel is. It's smooth and feels nice. For the price on sale you can't beat this.

Purchased for my wife to go with her GSP Okuma rod and she loves it! I paired the reel with (Reaction Tackle) PINK 15lb braid line and it looks flawless as well as works effortlessly! She caught a 6lb trout first time we went out on the lake and the reel worked as should! Great buy!
