While assembly did take a couple hours, everything fit together nicely, instructions were easy to follow, no missing pieces, and provides most everything you need to assemble. Instructions to adjust cabinet doors were printed right on the cabinet, so we got them aligned perfectly with ease. And the doors are soft close! I am super impressed with this cabinet. Alway nervous buying furniture on Amazon- especially faux wood where quality can vary. This cabinet looks like real white oak- the laminate has some texture too it (except doors) and feels amazing. I even questioned if it was a wood veneer (I’ll go back and look at specs). The doors are definitely laminate and smoother but they all blend well colors wise. It was a LOT of steps to put together and took my husband about 2 hours - but he even noted the quality of part etc were really good. Highly recommend!! Oh- and color is perfect- not orange or yellow- like a true white oak with a very, very slight grey undertone. It’s honestly just perfect! ... show more

This is one of my favorite pieces of furniture ever. It was easy to put together by myself and I’m glad I didn’t hire someone. Time consuming but amazing instructions making it straightforward. For further perspective I put it together with my toddlers around and music playing. That easy. The reviews complaining about a gap need to contact the seller or read the sticker, the doors are adjustable and it was an easy adjustment to close the gap. This piece made it so easy to organize and really ties our dining space together . So happy I purchased and got it when it was on sale even though it’s worth full price. We purchased this and use it as a coffee bar in our home. My husband and I put it together in about an hour, he figured out the door alignment quite easily, but they were tricky initially. Nice buffet. Took my son and I an hour or two to assemble it. It’s like ikea furniture, so lots of screws, and pay close attention to the drawings. Pros: relatively straightforward assembly. Good directions. Draws slide smoothly. Doors have soft close hinges. Charcoal grey sides and black top look nice. Cons: A bit challenging to get the doors to line up straight. VERY heavy. Make sure you get sliders to put under the feet. The top in the pictures looks more marble than in real life. Up close the top is textured and obviously fiberboard. For the price, it’s a good buy. Looks nice “over there” but won’t sustain up close. ... show more

I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of this buffet sideboard. It took a long time to assemble but instructions were easy to follow. There are a lot of pieces. The whole box weights 100 lbs so I'm sure FedX was NOT happy. I needed help bringing it inside. However, once assembled it look great. The doors are soft close. It's very sturdy and not flimsy.
