I bought this item twice, as I really liked it. Previous USB C adapters I had bought did not have the power to charge my HP ProBook or my MacBook Pro 15 nor my IPad Pro. Sometimes they would sometimes they would not. When I saw this one listed as 118W and with a basic Apple looking design at a price point lower than lower wattage alternatives I decided to take the leap. It has not disappointed. My devices charge fast and the power Rick does not seem to get hot while doing so. The item feels heavy duty and the shell is definitely thick and solid plastic. Nothing flimsy. The sole USB Port fits precise and there is no rattle or looseness. Here is a summary: Pros: - 118W - Solid build - Apple compatible and removable outlet prong (so you can put other region prongs on when you travel. I needed a charger that was going to be compatible with my Surface Book, Macbook M1, and a HP laptop. Originally I was just going to go with an OEM 61W Apple charger because I knew it would work but I couldn't justify spending $60 (plus another $20 for a USB cable since the Apple plug doesn't come with a one) so I looked for better options. This charger is definitely a valuable upgrade. Some things of note: + It's every so slightly larger than the OEM 61W Apple charger but you'd only notice side by side + The USB-C cable that it comes with is longer than the Apple cable by a little less than a foot (7') + The USB-C cable is detachable which is great, because... - The USB-C cable is a little bit of a tight fit. Maybe too tight, but it is definitely not going to slide out. This isn't a problem for me because I'm using this charger to power a USB-C hub that I use as a docking station to allow me to swap laptops and use the same monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc while charging. On a side note, when using this to charge my Samsung Note 10 it shows "Super Fast Charging" on the lock screen. The OEM Apple charger only supports "Fast Charging". Overall I'm pretty happy with this charger and I saved $45. ... show more
