4 months of owning this. Setup was done in just a few hours. I had extra wood glue on hand to ensure main piece were extra adhered if I needed to move it I wouldn’t worry about stripping any pieces about. It is very sturdy and stylish! We have a 10x10 sitting room that this heats up very well. We use the heater almost every day since we owned it. As much as I thought I’d want to hear sounds coming from it I happy it’s silent as we have a 50” tv above it and we don’t have to worry about crackling noise over s tv show. The fire place insert. I plugged it in first to see if there were any defects and to burn off the new smell of the heater. Very surprisingly enough there was no odor to contend with. I was very happy about that as well the over all quality of the insert made me even more motivated to build the frame. The instructions were as easy enough. Just had to lay out the pieces accordingly, unboxing and organizing is half the job. I’d say 4.5hrs total for me to unbox and put the trash away organized then build. I spent about 30 minutes playing with the fireplace for quality control. Again, no issues found. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again. We really do enjoy having it in our sitting room. I wish our gas fireplace was as efficient with the heat output vs this electric heater. This really does take all the chill we always have in the front of the house. ... show more

After a lot of looking, I found this to be the perfect fireplace TV stand. It is the perfect size for my living room and my 55” inch TV with plenty of extra room on top for cable box and more. It is very sturdy and solid. The assembly directions were very easy to follow. The heat works well and the fan is quiet. We love how it looks. The fire looks big like we wanted and the three-sided glass adds to the cool look. We were looking for a fireplace with multiple color flames and were lucky to find one that is also excellent in all the other ways as well. ... show more

I am in love with my new fireplace! It has such a realistic flame, I love the beautiful mantel, it looks like such an expensive unit but it was so reasonably priced! My friend was challenged to put it together, but he did an awesome job. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!!

Overall, the fireplace/TV stand looks nice- I like the flame colors, the 3D effect is nice, I like how large the fireplace is and the heater works well. I have assembled a TON of IKEA furniture over the years and this was nearly identical in terms of directions and procedures. My only complaint is the "decorative stone"! It's literally a printed picture of stone veneer. It looks so bad! I'm going to get some real peel-n-stick tile or something to put over it. It's not that hard to include something that is a different material. C'mon. Seriously! ... show more

Did take my husband and few hours to assemble but so worth it! I love everything about it. Its less deep than our old one so it frees up a lot of space period the quality looks amazing period I love the height. It is a little taller than our old one, and it just has a nice clean classy look. When only the insert arrived and my product said it was delivered.I was concerned and reached out to the manufacturer. They responded right away and assured me that the remaining box would be arriving as the original date had stated. The remote control is easy to use and I love the features. It is very quiet.
