Great book for artists to learn layered oil painting like old masters. There is one drawback. It did not cover on how much to thin oil paints out of tube before those oil paints lose their strength or ability to last.

This is a great reference book, full of practical guidelines for painting in a classical technique. The author uses simple and direct language for the instructions. Photo references are excellent. I suggest checking his YouTube channel.
