It’s not soft at all. Feels like an outdoor rug but I didn’t need it to be comfortable. I needed it to tie the room together and be friendly for dogs and kids. I’m curious to see how it will do in my standard washer since it is VERY heavy. I may just have to take it to the laundromat which is inconvenient but that’s ok. I initially bought this because of having an older dog that could use more traction than the hardwood floors. I wanted a washable one because of having a puppy and anticipation of accidents. This rug seems durable but I’m concerned about the washing machine not being able to handle it due to the weight of the rug. Also note the one I purchased was labeled yellow and there is no yellow in the rug. Any color that is in it other than grey and white is an orange/peach color. ... show more

Very nice in every way. 4 stars because it is not 5x7. The width is not 60" but 58.25" , 1.75 " less. In certain situations this can make a difference in scale.

I bough the 5 x 7 and it is a good size for my office. This is a very think rug, thin enough for my office chair to roll over, which work for me. If you're looking for plush of softness this might not be the type you need.

Great thin rug and perfect for under a desk to protect hard wood floors from rolling desk chairs. Definitely better looking than those plastic desk floor protectors. Love the colors and that it lays flat quickly. Is easily vacuumed or swept because of the low profile and there's barely any transition when vacuuming from a hard floor to the rug.
