I love camping and go frequently. I've had the same sleeping bag that my mom bought me when I was a teenager (I am a college student working as a server--cliche right?) and figured I should get my own. I camp a lot on my own with my dog since I don't get normal time off, this seemed like a perfect cost effective option. Here's the deal--it's super thin. Do not take this sleeping bag camping with you thinking it will work to 40 below conditions. 50 and below I'd recommend bringing a blanket. Where the two bags combine there is a hole that cannot be covered up, there will be a breeze by your feet all night if you don't like wearing socks to bed like me. Right out of the package my sleeping bag had several seams coming apart--see my photos. I was super disappointed. This is not a sleeping bag meant for heavy use apparently. The pillows are a convenience but they are small, the size of the nape of your nape nothing more. My dog is a German shepherd/Labrador mix and she is small, it's barely the size of her head. Even though it says it's queen size I blew up my full size air mattress to test it out. It is in fact bigger than full but not by much. This is meant for someone plus a dog because we all know how much room they take up, maybe two or three kids, and maybe two grown average sized adults who respect each other's space. Otherwise the inside is super soft. Be warned that the outside black part maybe waterproof but where the top bray part pokes out--that is most definitely not waterproof. My biggest concern was the seams coming out. Otherwise this could have been a very fun spring/summer double sized sleep bag. ... show more
