Very realistic without any of the worry. Have let the kids play with it, but gently. Not sure how the blade would hold up to repeated, hard blows, but excellent for cosplay, etc. several people have assumed it was metal.

So there I was walking with my wife at our first renfair event knowing that others have said they've been stopped by the police at events with this fake axe in reviews and I hear someone yelling "Sir you cant have that". I was like wtf does he want and he walks up and points at my axe that's in a ring sheath and I pull it out and just hand it to him and his head jut drops and he apologizes. Pretty funny. Gave us and our friends a good laugh when we went to tell them about it afterwards
