My previous bed was a bit soft for my liking, but my wife loved it. We agreed to try a new one to see if it was something we could both like. This one is a bit firmer(which I really love). I'm 6'5" and this is the perfect amount of resistance for my body. My spouse is significantly shorter/smaller than me and she doesn't quite sink in as far as she wants. She sleeps great on it though and just comments on the feel while she is awake. We haven't had any overheating problems with the bed and I sleep quite comfortably on it. The edges are firm and do not feel like they are going to collapse on us. Sheets stay on fine. Overall, we are happy with the item. The instructions say to leave it for 48 hours to fully inflate which seemed to be the right amount of time to use. ... show more

This is much firmer than my previous pillow top mattress but overall it's still very comfortable and gives you a nice sleep. The memory foam lets you sink in and molds to your body so it may not be the best for someone who likes to move around a lot. If you stay in one place like me then you are enveloped in the mattress and you sink in and are comfortable. Set up was a breeze. Other than being a little heavy in the box when she get it in place you just need to cut the plastic wrap off and it will unroll and start to take shape. The instructions recommend 72 hours to let it open all the way up but I slept on it after a day and it seemed fine. It sinks in when you lay on it, but not too much where it's hard to get back up.
