This comes with 42 *sets* of containers, so technically 84 pieces. This is an AMAZING deal, I’ve seen sets of 8 that run around $20-$25. The plastic seems very durable and the tops create a great seal and suction. I’m using it for pantry storage so I’m not sure how they are with hot foods. They come with labels that are sort of like plastic and a white paint marker, so you can redo the labels over and over again! Definitely going to come back to this product if I ever need more and I recommend you do too!! ... show more

I’m not one to decant everything I purchase or to have a Pinterest worthy pantry. However, if that’s your goal, this set will definitely take you in the right direction. This is a large set - large - of plastic storage containers. There’s a size for virtually anything you can imagine. There is a lid for every piece. The lids snap on firmly making these airtight and water tight. The first thing I did was fill one with water, snap on the lid and turn it over. I came back to it a couple of hours later and it was still water tight - no drips and no moisture on the outside. That means you can use these for soup in a lunch bag without the worry of having a mess by the time you get to work. I am using some of these for pantry items as I’m a baker and have a few ‘odd’ staples that would benefit from airtight storage. The added benefit of these is that they are rectangular (as opposed to round or square) so they make good use of shelf space in your pantry or cabinet. I have a couple sitting on their sides instead of straight up to take advantage of the shelf heights I have in a cabinet. They slide in perfectly and the airtight lids mean I don’t have to worry about spillage. I’m using the smaller containers for leftovers in the fridge - again a much more effective use of space than leftover yogurt or cottage cheese containers and no accidental spills or leaks. This is a great price for a set as large as this. There are four of every size container with accompanying lids. They are stackable so that adds to their convenience by saving you space in your ‘container’ cupboard or drawer. Plus they throw in a small set of measuring spoons and you can never have too many of those. I don’t need all of these so gave half of these to my sister and still have more than I need at the moment. If you want to get organized in style and toss all those old plastic pieces with missing lids this set will definitely help you do it. ... show more

This is a great set and if you have a variety of things you want to keep sitting out and be able to see that's great. In reality the only really useful size are the tallest ones. They go all the way down to one that is so tiny it is even a bit small for a package of beads. Most of the sizes are sort of pointless but the tall one will hold two full packages of spaghetti a normal box of cereal or 1 pound bag of sugar. ... show more

Things have gotten really, really tight in the last couple of years due to inflation and bad economies world-wide, so we’ve stopped going to restaurants and now cook all our food at home to save money. This means we also had to come to terms with buying staples in bulk, and then figure out how to store everything safely in our pantry. When I saw this giant set of air-tight food-safe containers I knew it was an investment I had to make — and I am extremely happy with them! First: these containers look uniform on our pantry shelves and are also stackable (previously we had way too many bags and boxes of staples piled on our pantry shelves, it looked terrible and it was difficult to find specific items). Second: bags and boxes straight out of the grocery store are rarely packaged properly for the long term, with these containers we are now decanting our bags of dried beans, rice, quinoa, barley, flour, polenta, lentils, split peas, pastas, and other essentials to protect them for months (or longer) without damage. Third: they really are air-tight (I tested a couple of them by filling with water, securing the lids, and flipping them upside-down overnight to confirm that that water would not get out). This is so important since it means pantry moths, insects, or even mice can’t get in to ruin our food (the same thing as our hard-earned dollars). FIVE STARS for these many food storage canisters in so many different sizes to suit our needs, plus the labels and measuring cups are an added bonus that are so useful as well! ... show more

I have a few odd-sized airtight containers, but desperately needed more. I saw this set of 42 containers at a fabulous price, and ordered. This is a great set! It has many different sizes, all of which (except the little ones) are stackable in any combination. The plastic is heavy and durable, the lids are airtight, and they seal very well. The different sizes mean I can always find the right size, whether it is for big or small quantities. I am using the big containers in my food pantry to hold flours and sugars, and have many dry ingredients (beans, lentils, etc.) in the smaller. They are very attractive on my shelves, and they clean up well. The set comes with a couple of scoops, labels, and a pen, which is very nice to have--many ingredients look alike at first glance. The containers nest into each other when not in use, which means less space is taken up. This is a really great set: good price, different sizes, airtight. I would recommend it to anyone needing more storage containers--for anything, not just food; these would be good for crafters, too. I am delighted with mine. ... show more
