Decent quality chair for the price, I was able to assemble it in less than 20 minutes with no issue. Casters roll smoothly, the seat is firm but we'll see how it holds up long-term. The chair fits my 5'7" frame very well with a couple of inches of room between me and the handles on each side. The seat back comes up to the base of my neck, a taller person might find this uncomfortable as there will be no support for the head when leaning back. Arms are comfortable and well padded and flip up fairly easily although not everything aligned up perfectly so one arm is tighter trying to flip up. With the seat at its highest setting my feet are approximately an inch off the ground. I would buy this chair again but it's for casual use, if this will get long term daily use I'm not sure the padding will hold up. ... show more

I have now bought two of these chairs. Sadly had to return a third one as it could not be assembled. It was probably an irregular so hence the deep discount sale price. That being said.... I absolutely love this chair. Once it breaks -in , it is really comfortable. Only took a couple of days to contour to my body. Bought the second one for my wife as her old office chair was beginning to give her back and butt problems. Bought both in purple and Scotch guarded the cloth on both. My story with this chair is indeed a story, so it is probably better that I start at the very beginning. I ordered this chair with the desire to replace my three year old Emerge Vortex gaming chair. Now, the Vortex had been good to me. Over three years I never noticed a single crack or blemish on the chair surface or the various mechanisms that make up a chair. If it wouldn't have been for the flattening cushion, the chair would have been just as it was on the first day of ownership. This chair is very similar in design and construction to the Vortex, so I thought it was going to be a home run. I was a little disappointed to see that the box was perhaps the most generic thing in existence. I know it's just a box, but presentation is kind of key in my opinion. It was brown, it said "Gaming Chair" and it had a black and brown picture of the chair on the front. Not an issue, but it didn't immediately inspire confidence. All of the pieces were in bubble wrap inside and seemed to be well protected. Building this chair is perhaps the absolute worst thing that has ever befallen a poor human soul in the existence of our species. The back and the seat attach to the pairs of arms but there is so little clearance between them that you need two people just to shove the pieces together enough to hopefully get the bolts in without them cross-threading and ruining the whole chair. I swore more times than I could count as I attempted to put this monstrosity together. But eventually I was able to do it. The chair was complete, and I was finally able to admire my handiwork. The admiration was quite short lived. The seams of the chair didn't match up, there were sewing issues, and there were obvious permanent divots in the cushioning beneath the pleather on the back of the chair from being pushed against other pieces during packaging. But these were all minor things in comparison to what was my main issue with this chair. The mesh fabric looked dirty. I don't really know how to explain it, but there were little spots in the fabric that almost looked like stains. Bits of discoloration that made my new chair look like it had already been through a whole life of being used and abused. Besides the issues with the fabric and craftsmanship, the chair just isn't that comfortable. The seat part of the chair is extremely comfy. Supportive and just the right amount of firmness. But the back of the chair is the complete opposite. The back has no lumbar support, and it slopes back way too much to actually support you unless you're leaning back in the chair. Good posture and support are things that you can not achieve in this chair at the same time. Taking the chair apart, sending it back, and getting a refund wasn't an option for me as it seemed more work than it was worth. I could deal with the comfort issues, but the stain-like marks on the mesh were something I couldn't deal with. I contacted the manufacturer, OFM, about my issues with the chair and was promptly told that the item had been "discontinued" and that they had no more stock. That was it, no help, no assistance, just that the product had been discontinued and that I was out of luck. This is completely unreasonable. If you sell a product new, you need to offer support for that product...especially if the issues are at a manufacturer level and not the fault of the end user. What makes this worse though is that the chair was clearly marked as being shipped from OFM themselves, meaning that it wasn't just something in an Amazon warehouse, but from their own distribution. So they had no stock, but were able to ship me a chair just a week earlier. Right. In my opinion, don't buy this chair. It's not worth it even if it's on sale. Buy anything else, literally anything. The quality isn't there, and the comfort is nearly nonexistent. I couldn't have possibly sold this chair faster than I did once I got that email from OFM. I was lucky enough to recoup almost all of the money I spent on it but you might not be so fortunate. ... show more

    • Easy to assemble but very uncomfortable
As the headline says - I was able to put the chair together in few minutes, but the back support is very hard and uncomfortable. The back is also in a weird angle so I almost never rest my back against it. Lastly, the sitting part is quite big and I'd (5'2") would have to move all the way to the back to rest ... show more

Pros: it's cheap, the arms lift up, it's mostly pretty comfortable. Cons: it's cheap and it's only "mostly" comfortable. Hard to sit up straight in this chair.

Only issue I had was with assembling one of the hand bars as the side holes were not aligned properly and the screw is at a angle. Hope it lasts.
