The shade doesn't fit the equipment. You have to leave a bit of the hardware unscrewed in order for it to sit. You can see that it's poorly planned and the shade wasn't made for this fixture. Also, if you've never installed lighting, the instructions are of zero value. I've done it before but I had to keep unscrewing and rescrewing things because it doesn't give you step by step instructions. Worthless. ... show more

The brass parts are of good quality and installation was fairly simple without need for the instruction sheet. The end result after screwing on the four bulbs were good. Shade itself is white and and a bit plasticky on the inside. However, it looks good after it is installed.
