The product cuts fine; however, it does not emboss. I can’t get the plates to roll through with the embossing folder using the plates they recommend in the book. Inside the instruction manual it says that an embossing folder is included, but I did not have one included. I went to their website to try to reach out to them because that’s what Amazon said I had to do. But their contact form on their website errors out every time I try to submit and they have no phone number or email address. It sounds like a sketchy company. So while the product may be decent, don’t expect any customer service since they intend to sell you stuff that may be missing parts or doesn’t work.

Love the heftiness of this embossing machine. The instructions were clear. It did mention that there was supposed to be an embossing folder, but it was not included, so I think they should change those instructions. For the price point, I’m not too mad about it. The dies included worked well.

I like this little manual machine for crafting projects. It cuts nicely, comes with a few dies to try out. It did not come with an embossing folder which was disappointing. It's pretty hefty so I feel like the materials are quality that will last a long time. The price point is a bit up there but I feel like you get what you pay for. I believe this is a good buy.

A surprisingly nice machine. This machine came in an excellent box with proper protection. The only assembly was to screw the handle on. In my experience die handles can come off, so this is nice that I can hand tighten it and check it often without a tool. The machine came with the standard necessary plates. This machine doesn’t take a very thick bottom plate, but the top plates seem to be compatible with the plates from my Big Shot. These plates are wider at just shy of 8-1/2 inches. It’s nice to have that little bit of extra space on the plates for more dies. I ran this with a smaller magic mat to test that and it worked very smoothly and cut beautifully. At this time I am unsure if replacement plates are available, but the machine can use the smaller ones too. It’s nice to know I can mix and match my various top plates and magic mats and get good results. I did a 3D embossing folder and needed to add a piece of cardstock to shim it and get a good impression. Folder thicknesses differ so I might not need this for other folders. Honestly playing with shims sort of goes with the territory with all the options available now. The one cardstock shim worked fine for that folder. The advantage of this larger sized plate is that I can angle the square folders or dies more easily which will put less pressure on them as they go through. It’s an excellent size plate, and the machine works fine with smaller plates on top of the base plate too. The machine came with a few great small leaf and flower dies. This die machine has a different gearing than my others. The handle needs to be turned more times to get the plates through. The payoff is that it’s easier to turn the handle and needs less effort. I think this machine might be especially good for older folks who are having a hard time holding on to their machine when cranking plates through. I think there are many times when this may be my machine of choice. Overall I think this is a very nice machine indeed. I love that it folds up so easily. The sides drop without any effort. There’s no trick or clips. They seem to be well enough supported in either position. Folded up they will make the machine much easier to store…a definite bonus for someone with a small, or already crowded space. I think this would make a fine die cutting machine for any crafter. I can see myself using it a lot. If I encounter any difficulties or problems I will update this review, but at this time I would definitely recommend this machine.
