Being a book publisher, I resorted to 3-ring binders to hold manuscripts and reports when I preferred something more book-like binding. I like this paper binding machine! It’s solid, and has a more user-friendly style and is easy to use! Finally, a binding machine that does not require a degree in rocket-science! It’s heavy, which again tells me it’s solid and sturdy. The old school ones were plastic and in trying to punch through the cover sheets and a few sheets of paper, it would break! So frustrating… This one comes with oil to lubricate the machine, and instructions on first-time use. If you have had your fill with the old paper binding machines, try this one. It’s modern and a lot easier to use.

A pretty good binding machine that is well made and heavy duty. The case is made of metal and hard plastic and seems durable. The pull handle is sturdy and allows for centered pulls every time. The binding works well in the machine and I have had no issues with the finished product being sub par. Overall a good value binder for those in need of one but on a budget.

Another really nice light duty machine from this brand. This has a single arm with back and forth action... bring it towards you to cut holes in your paper, push it away from you to snag the fingers on your comb binding spine and open it up. It is relatively light weight and also light duty. It won't puncture a ton of pages, and on the back side you'll have to use some force with really thick comb binding spines. However, it works. I assembled three technical/math books from PDFs using this tool. (Thanks to my workplace for its high speed printer).

This thing is a workhorse. It punches clean holes and binds evenly, and I appreciate that it comes with a bunch of combs so you can start right away. It does take a little strength to pull the lever when you’re punching a thicker stack of pages, but nothing major. Great for organizing paperwork or making little booklets; feels like a mini office upgrade.
