I have not had this for long, so I will update this review if anything changes. The Gamecube came with the analog AV cable, an aftermarket power supply (no issues so far), and an aftermarket controller (also no issues so far). So far this has worked great. This is set up to work with US games. I was concerned when I first received it because I looked at the model number on the bottom and it showed DOL-001(JPN) as pictured. The games I had were US games, and since the Gamecube was region locked, I was worried that I would not be able to play on a Japanese model. I tested it with the US games I had and it played without any issues. I borrowed a Japanese game from a friend and it would not boot up. So, it appears that it has been modified to play US games. If you are looking to play US games, that is great. If not, you might need to be warry. ... show more

The console was in very good condition upon arrival. I did see a few scratches on it, but I won’t complain given the age of these. Booted perfectly and all signs point to this being a great purchase. Will update once I’m able to sit for an hour of gaming.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER. This item was advertised to be tested, refurbished and in "like new" condition. Which is a total joke. It arrived totally messed up. And it is JAPANESE REGION LOCKED which was never mentioned in the item description. I cant even get it to work or play a game. I cant put into words how disappointed i am when i realized how much of a scam this was. There were scratches all over the exterior. Has a third party power adapter (that bearly fits/works) and the most important thing is the eject button DOES NOT WORK! it sticks when you press it down meanining you cant even close the console to load a game. It renders it completely unusable. Ontop of it already being in Japanese, being region locked meaning you cant use it all. It was supposed to come with a genuine nintendo purple controller; but it was litterally scrapped together using two different controllers. Its purple on the front and clear on the back. Half- half and looks terrible. I'll hopefully be working out a refund as this unironically RUINED Christmas! Im extremely unhappy! 🙁 🎄 ... show more
