Order was received in good time, and box appeared to be in good shape with extra tape. Once I opened it I saw that the parts had been replaced into the foam and upside down in the box. Parts were all over the box and some screws missing on the unit. The legs had been installed and just placed back into the box for return. Thumb drive that was supplied with the unit had already been formatted and contained no information or setup files. I have setup the unit and tried some tests with it and appears to run ok. The laser head does seem to not sit vertical and leans forward. I've been trying to find out if that is normal or not. Overall this model is easy to setup and get running and I look forward to seeing the full potential of the 40w laser head. ... show more

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is a great budget engraver. I haven't used the rotary attachment as I haven't had the need. I use this to cut and engrave veneer for marquetry and it does a great job. It does require some assembly, like 20 minutes. I have owned 3D printers from Creality, but this is my first laser engraver. I am having a lot of fun with this product and would recommend it to anyone that is considering it. If you are going to use it on wood, you will probably want to buy the enclosure, as it can give off smoke. With the enclosure, you can redirect smoke out the window. Also, I got the print bed, because it doesn't come with one. And I purchased the air assist which can help keep it cool to avoid scorching. Fortunately, the addons were pretty affordable. One thing to note that did not immediately occur to me, is that if you find it is not cutting all the way through the wood and you already have it set to 100% power, you can lower the speed setting and it will cut more. ... show more

    • Thought this was just scrapbooks paper
When I ordered this I thought it was just crafting paper pieces , not realizing it was a laser engraving material kit. Well, once received it will be used for card making and scrap booking. The paper is a fun variety and will work on cards, with die cuts or my silhouette.

Machine when works, is ok, doesn't do nearly what they claim. Creality customer services non existent/sucks. If something doesn't work or you need a part for it, you may as well throw it away and buy something different.
