Smooth and quiet chair
Style: Black
These wheels are a great replacement for your traditional plastic office chair wheels. They roll much smoother and quieter. Super easy to install. Very sturdy, no concerns of them breaking.

Good replacement wheels that work well on carpet. Very smooth rolling and look good.
Style: Black
Good standard size replacement wheels that work well on carpet. They are much smoother rolling than the original 2inch plastic ones. The only slight issue is that they are a tiny bit less smooth when changing direction due to the larger wheels having to flip around. But my experience is on carpet so it may not even be noticeable on a hard surface. That being said, I love the new wheels and the less smooth direction changing does not bother me at all. Just wanted to list it as something I noticed. ... show more

These Office Owl chair casters work so well they caused me physical pain!
Style: Clear
They roll so smoothly, they glide so effortlessly, they work so well... after installing them I grabbed my desk to roll my chair forward as I normally would with the old original chair casters, and I FLEW forward at a surprising speed, smashing into the edge of the desk. Considerably less effort is required to move around with these Office Owl casters! These wheels roll on hard surfaces like a dream, silently and silky smooth, but they transition from hard surface to rugs or carpet without a problem thanks to the increased diameter of the wheel. These Office Owl casters are 50% taller than factory wheels so you will notice a slight height increase in the chair, but it is minimal. These wheels are about 78mm/3" diameter. My factory chair wheels were 49mm/2" so it is only about 1/2" height increase, but they perform SO much better on carpets and rugs being 50% larger. Because these are built well, using actual bearings for both the swivel and wheel and quality materials, they are capable of holding more weight than the cheap wheels that come with most chairs. To make up for the lower weight capacity on the factor wheels, they use 2 wheels side-by-side on each chair leg. This design is terrible for swiveling and pivoting, when compared to a single wheel on each leg, as there is only one contact point and not 2. These Office Owl casters use a single wheel per leg, so they pivot and swivel much more easily. The only downside I have noticed is a slight squeak from the soft rubber on my concrete floor when they pivot in place. It is very slight and only lasts a split second as the wheel pivots in one spot. Once they roll, they're silent. The fit was perfect, and installing them in a 20 second affair... flip the chair over, yank the old wheels out, pop these in, and flip the chair back over. They fit well, they weren't loose in the legs, they stayed in place with no wobble, so installation is a snap. I've got to use them for 6 months or so to see if any problems pop up, but so far they're great and they look nice. I paid $20.87 for them, I just checked and they've gone up to $22.87, but that's still worth it if you're tired of small plastic crappy wheels that don't roll well and end up crooked and cracking. ... show more

Smooth rolling wheels
Style: Black
These remind me a lot of the wheels I used to have on rollerblades 20 years ago. They roll smoothly and fairly quietly, but have enough friction that they requite a bit of force to move, so you aren't rolling around every time you move. They feel quite a bit more solid than the normal cheap plastic wheels that come with most office chairs, the type with two slim plastic wheels with a bar/axle between them that sometimes crack or pop off if you sit down too hard or weigh more than they can handle. If they wear at about the same rate my rollerblade wheels did, these should last over a decade of use on a chair that rolls on a mat a few feet a day, and they have a fairly universal mount, so they should be compatible with most office chairs and can be re-used on multiple chairs. ... show more

An essential replacement for all office chairs
Style: Clear
These work great. Smooth and silent, easy to turn and move around. Sometime (very rarely), the rubber wheels can get caught at a bad angle and might be a bit difficult to maneuver. But this is only a minor issue, overall these wheel are a huge upgrade from the clunky plastic ones most chairs come with. ... show more

Work too well
Style: Clear
These are smooth and great, the only issue I had was the wheels are so narrow it cracked my older floor mat and now the wheels get stuck in the cracks.

Order one set and then ordered another set
Style: Clear
A chair I recently bought had a reviewer who suggested upgrading the wheels. After using the chair for a couple of days, I agreed and ordered these (in clear). Today they showed up and I swapped them out. What a difference!!! Smooth and quiet. I have hardwood floors and low-profile throw rugs. I tested it out on both while seated. I was so happy and impressed that I had my husband try the chair and he decided to get a set in (black) to match his chair. The price was good as well. I recommend!!! TLDR: They were such an improvement that my husband decided to order a set for his chair. ... show more

Easy installation; fast roll
Style: Black
I purchased these to replace the original rollers on my office chair which were starting to deteriorate. It was easy to remove the old rollers and insert these. These do roll faster than my original rollers. Consequently, a gently push results in my chair now moving twice as far as with my original rollers. Also, when I shift my weight while in the chair these rollers result in the chair moving further than with the original rollers. They appear to be well made, and I'm satisfied with the purchase. ... show more
